Gears of War 2 “Last Day”

A follow up trailer to the original “Mad World” has been released. This is just in time for Gears of War 2. The trailer is entitled “Last Day”. Incidentally it is also produced by the same company as the original. The song featured is by How it ends by Devontchka.

PAX 08′ Spore + Rock Band 2!

These two new videos show off the opening scenes of Spore and the booth for Rock Band 2.  The panel covered the first three parts of Spore: Cell, Creature, and Tribe. The demo was fantastic although I must admit I would have liked to see Space.

The first video opens with the start of Spore in the cell stage. During the second we see parts of the Creature stage and the Tribe stage.

Left 4 Dead Gameplay!

From PAX 08′ comes one new video for Left 4 Dead. Check back later for videos from the Spore live stage demo!

 

PAX Day 1 – Videos

The first day brought only two video’s one of the line into PAX and one of Gears of War 2 gameplay. Should be heading to Day 2 soon and plan on capturing much more then from Day One. Getting the lay of the land was more important at the time.

Xbox 360 Price Drop?

A leaked K Mart ad has reveleaed what could possible be a price drop to $299 for the Xbox 360 just before this years E3 Convention. The ad is dated for July 6th with an offical annoucement likely to be made before hand if the price drop is indeed coming across the board.

Price drops before the holiday season may spur Sony to do the same if they are not already planning to.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed – All Looks?

When a game comes along that stuns everyone with its graphics most of us if not all are pulled into an unending hype machine where we look past gameplay flaws just because the game is really pretty.

Assassins Creed or Crysis are both great examples. Assassins Creed was a great looking game which recreated famous cities such as Jerusalem. The scope was breathtaking and the detail impeccable. Assassins Creed turned out to be a good game but one with some repetitiveness and minor glitches. Most people looked past this because… It was really pretty.
